KTM Vin ?!

Got an 05 SX 450... where is my VIN? anyone know where theirs is as i cant find mine!

Please Dont tell me the steering head as it aint there... see pics

I have now paint stripped that entire area... nothing.

I need someone to be specific... EXACTLY where is it.. maybe even post a pic of where yours is... I NEED the VIN to insure my ride.. I cant ride..until its insured!

Right side... if your sitting on it? Is it next to the head stem/frame weld?

weird! it should be right there on the neck in the last picture...!

Call your local dealer.
ask them where its at. and make sure to tell them its not on the steering head

I spoke to my dealer... they assure me its there... haha no one believes me that it aint!!

Time to visit my dealer i think!

I definatly would. Bring the bike and show them its not there.

lookon the frame down by the motor where your shifter and brake lever is maybe its there? on my ktm it was on the steering stem so i have no clue

Did you buy the bike used or new? Im guessing the frame isnt the stock frame!

i just went out to the garge and double checked mine it is on the sterring head but mines a 04 450 sx it should also be on the bottom of your frame left side and i have seen ktm just put a metal sticker on them to with no vin on the frame just the motor # if you can find the # on the motor the local dealer should be able to figure out the vin for you
