KTM Suggestions

I was exploring the internet and found a website that says that the KTM 450sx can beat the 525sx even after it gets bored and stroked to 570. I read that the reason for this is because the 450 has more of a racing type head then the 525sx. I dont remember where I saw this post as I was just exploring. Does anyone know if this is true? If it is, can you put the head of a 450sx on the 525sx to make it better? Thanks.

This type of atatement comes up frequently. Depending on track conditions and rider experience either bike could be faster. In a pure speed race the cubic centimeters will win. a 450SX will rev faster thatn a bis slug / long stroke 570. Some might want this type of power. As for me, I am a purist and an old school open class rider. give me the 525SX adn I'll let the big dawg eat.

Ask the members here that have ridden Big Maico's 520SX as to if it is slower.
