Default Head shake

Hey guy's an girls!
Question is, I have just brought a ktm 520 2001 model that is registered for the road, when I am on the mx track the bike is awesome, enough grunt to pull your shoulders out, but when I ride on the track that cars use to go home I get some pretty scary head shake. Not a very good feeling at about 100kmh. I am wondering if I lower or raise the triple clamps will this help the situation and keep me on the seat? Cheers.
