GMB V PLANNING MEETING/RIDE 3-25/3-26

The GMB V planning meeting/ride will be March 25-26 this year. I thought I would post a new thread so everyone would clear on the dates.

Here is the plan thus far:

Saturday - Riding Splendora - San Jacinto Cycle Park
Sunday - Riding Rio Bravo

Of course there will be some food and a lot of bench racing mixed in there.

There are always spare bikes at the GMB. My CRF was so spare last year, I didn't ride it at all myself. I rode the Maico all day instead.

If you show, we'll make sure you can ride.

Lets take 16 minutes an try to assemble volunteers for some of the things we had diffuclulty with in the past, primarily flagers and front gate people. Now it's a blast to flag but not for the whole day and greeting people at the front gate is the best, but not for the whole day, soooo how about some of the people who want to help and don't even know we need them--- let Howard and Dave know, we will build a schedule. Last year a bunch of people asked if they could help this year--Now is the time to step forward.
Need some thoughts on 2 way communications, major difficulty in the past, does someone have access to some descent 2 way radios?

One other thought and then I'll leave you alone tonight (only) How about A couple of course marshalls to do two things, 1. to decide when to start the next moto and 2. to pull a very slow rider (probably me) off the track when the moto is over and He/She has 1 or 2 laps to go, shame to make 100 plus riders wait on that.
