I won't mind flagging for a bit. What historically happens around these parts is once you are out there you are forgotten about. I'll do some flagging but I don't plan on being out there all day.

lol ask Keeto....... i got the over 40 class and the 250 expert class. I would like the finsih line jump or the table b4. One of my kids will be doing it with me. I will not wait long for the next person to show up. Not being rude........but this is my wife and kids 1st GMB event, so I want to spend some time with them and explain some things as the day progresses.

what would be cool is a list of each flagging station and we can just copy it ..paste it and fill the spots. Hopefully Big M or Vingate Dave knows all the locations

You guys bring up a very important issue. That's why we need a long list so we can organize it and everyone only needs to flag one or two classes. There are enough folks attending that it shouldn't be a problem. Let's step up people!

I'd like to think that between us and the TT group there would be enough people willing to flag that it wouldn't be an issue.

E, having enough flaggers is a problem every year. That's why I thought getting a list of volunteers ahead of time might help with that issue.

Macho, that's exactly what I had in mind. I was thinking that with a list of volunteers, we could fill in flagging positions for each moto. That way those who signed up ahead of time would know exactly which moto and where they would be flagging. Hopefully it'll come together.

Hahaha, it's an issue at every race I've ever been to!! With all of the emotions flowing at an event like this I'm sure flagging is secondary to many people. The nice thing about this group is even if a race is going on we will stop, divert riders as well as take care of each other.

Updated:

1. Char - riding the chick class and the ATM/TT class. I'll flag at least two motos.
2. Jedi - Racing +40. I'll flag ATM/TT class. Might even flag the chick class as well.
3. Clint - Racing 125 Novice.
4. DRGSin - racing ATM/TT class and ?
5. Macho - flagging all of Lawpuppy's motos
6. MotoMan- racing the atm/tt class and 250 open Novice
7. wFo250- 'racing' ATM/TT and flagging as needed
8. b-bike393 - riding 40+, 50+ ATM
9. Mrs Twister - helping at the gate and flag a moto or two
10. Tex Twister - will flag a moto
11. yzernie - riding the 100+ class
12. Daniel - not sure what he's riding yet.

Hopefully I will get an idea of how many flaggers are needed for each moto. Then maybe we can get people to sign up for the motos that won't conflict with the classes they're riding in. Thanks to everyone that's volunteered so far!

Char talk to Big M and ask if ATM/TT can be responsable for certain flagging spots. I'm sure the track will rpovide other flaggers. This way we could swap out those certain spots. Get with him and ask his advice please.

Macho...I plan on doing that Monday. I was just trying to gather a list of volunteers ahead of time.

FWIW, I asked him ahead of time if it was ok to start this thread.
