as much as I love trees................they don't belong on a mx track. So I agree with the new owners 100%. Safer is always better period. Plus I get to watch Kirtus pimp everybody all the way around.

ps Kirtus looking forward to you flogging my new 250f

MACHO

Did I just say that in a public forum???

Yes there is going to be less shade around the track, however the new owners sound very pro-active with their actions. That I believe will result in a better MX park for everyone.

Just my 2-cents.

Initially I missed all the trees. I do like the fact that the track is much safer. Apparently many folks have hit trees - thankfully not tragically. There is no doubt the track is much safer and that is very good. The heat, well anyone who rides in Texas in the summer, well we expect heat. We must bring our own shade, drink much water.

Now there is room for 18 wheelers to turn around and people to park. This will help the track grow and become nationally known. This is good. It will help us achieve national attention and provide a means to help people be more safe and to focus on what riding is all about - safe riding - having fun, spending time with our children and "living to ride again."

The new owners are focusing on safety and creating a "family place" - this is good. This approach will help us keep places open to ride and to hopefully make is hard for the liberal environmental types to close places to ride.

I look forward to seeing you all there!
