Took Garrett for a ride this week-end.

O.K. I confess, I haven't been on any kind of "official" ride sense G.B.M.III. I've had other things to do (dumb statement to make on a dirt bike forum) : . HOWEVER this is the first place I took my bike riding, China Hat.

Here is a picture of "Me ole 426" before taking off for the first of two 35+ mile loops we plotted out for the day.


This is my nephew (Kyle) with our bikes.


By mid day the snow had melted and the traction was perfect.

It was quite a thrill to show Garrett where I like to ride here in Oregon while he was up front on my fork gurads, on the back of my helmet and behind me as well on my number plates. We had a blast berming the corners and skimming the whoops. And for the first time ever, I came home from there without doing any kind of dis-mount. THANKS GARRETT.

That's sweet Boyd! I take Garrett to Colorado every year and he gets to see the view from the top of the continental devide from my front fendor as well as the back of my helmet.

Awesome stickers! If I was there you would have been roosted a little bit. I have ordered a spark arrestor from Thunder Alley. We will look good riding together at WCTTR with JL and the boys [girls too - not trying to discriminate]. Yeh that's right, Shannon and I are loading up the bikes and we will be in California on May 27 through the 29, 30. I realize it is hard to leave that environment when you get there. I think Josh may be there too - he most likely will have his bike and filming set up.

AWESOME avatar. I remember that feeling a Dad gets when his kids get air, I never did get usto it. You folks on this site are something else - it amazes me how Garrett has impacted you. I remain humbled by all of this.

Perhaps we should start a "Southern Caravan" all the way to California and infest the WCTTR with ATM'ers :zap I know it is a crazy idea.
