Talking Thank you to everyone that has requested MM393 decals

I want to thank all of you that have requested the Motoman 393 decals recently. It does my heart good to see them take off again to honor Garrett's memory.

Glad I could help

Blitz,
Thank you but this is all for Garrett's memory not about me. I appreciate your running the decals to honor Garrett. You remind me of Garrett with your good technical knowledge. It seems our young members and moderators all share this trait that made Garrett so much of wonderful and sharing individual.

i remind you of him? that's the best compliment anyone can give, thanks.

i took 2 of the blue decals off my YZ and put them on my Specialized, and if i ever race it i will run the race number 393. IF that's ok with you, Motodad. if not, i'll yank one of the 3's and make it either 93 or 39. I wanted Garret riding with me everywhere, because both of my two-wheeled devices are the ones i spend most of my time on.

can't wait to get the yaller ones!

All good young men here

Rob,
I do mean the compliment. I see a lot of the positive things tnat made everyone at Thumper Talk love Garrett so much. I see the sharing of knowledge and the willingness to help anyone that needs it in you, Ren and John. Y'all will try to help all commers when you have the knowlege. I firmly believe in passing along any good deed I can and hoping that person wil in turn do something for another dirt biker.

I also see the same passion for our sport that fueled his drive and his curiosity in making the tools and parts better and cheaper.

Talking Madcow393

Rob, John is Madcow393 here. I posted you another set of yellow decals this morning. If you do get both just keep them and use them as you wish.

ok, i have 2 on my BMX, 2 on my YZ, 5 more spots for the yellow ones on the YZ, and that leaves 3 more!! i can put some on my truck, IF I EVER GET ONE, (btw, do any of you know of a small 4wd, standard shift pickup for sale for under $1000, do ya? )

Rob,

I agree with Florida393l, I didn't know Garrett, but he helped my riding buddies that had either a YZ400/426 and we always talk about him on our riding trips, and I see the same type of personality, friendliness, and willing to help anyone that were trait marks of Garrett in you too.

In our local riding club here in Kansas City, I try to get as many youth involved in riding as possible as its the best social intervention with society that I have discovered, plus it builds up their endurances and teaches them responsibilites and how to interact with others with greater or lesser riding capabilities.

Sometimes I get teased by my other riding buddies that Rick's big red truck should be a school bus, but if I can keep our young riders from getting into a gang, crimes, drugs, etc., I have reached my accomplishments/goals that I have set for my lifetime.

If we had more people with those types of traits, we wouldn't have any enemies.

I don't have any, can some one get me some? Do they cost anything? I'd really like some though.

Florida393, i got my Motoman393 stickers in the mail. Thx. They will be running on my bike as soon as i am up and runnin again. met motodad after he and others came in to ride muenster last week. he's a great guy and full of pride in what his son accomplished in such a short time. I broke bread with motodad, bigmaico, madman393, bryan, ron & ron and really enjoyed the comraderie that they shared as the band of brothers. hope someday to be around these guys enough to feel like an integral part of the group.

Motodad even filled me in on Garrett's web site tech tricks. I will be modifying my setup to include the BK carb mod, blue wire mod and the header protector mod. Tyler, may take you up on that offer of help on the bk mod once i get the rear subframe off. Garrett lives on in all of us, i only wish i had the chance to meet him....but then again i guess i will someday.

Thumbs up Good to hear

TDN,
I am really glad you gotto meet Mike and the rest of the gang. these men are so super to be with. I feel like I do not measure up to the stature they have attained and the strength they have. I only hope I can honor the spirit and the memory of Garrett. If you have the spirit in your heart and are a dirt biker your are our brother, end of discussion.

I am glad you got the decals so quick and I hope you enjoy displaying them. You are lucky to live so close to these fine men and to anjoy fellowship with them. Welcome to our brotherhood.

Bill
