Default Showing your Respect.....

We all show our respect for "those who rode" in different ways. Most of us show it on our bikes in one way or another, but all of us show our respect for Garrett and all that have fallen, every time we teach someone something new or volunteer to lend a hand to our fellow moto-brother. This post is about how we show our respect and dedication. Mine starts here every single time I start my bike.....

The first one is obvious. The second one is for a local kid. I know his dad, Doug, very very well. I still have the printed label on the dash of my van from GMB this year.

Thanks Howard for the new stickers.

How do you show your respect?

James

Nice post James. I have no pics (digitally challenged) but I have Motoman393 decals from the original run on the front and rear fenders of my bike. Going to need some new ones soon. I am now out of the originals.

Both the Maico & the KTM have Motoman 393 stickers on them!

I also have a small one on the triple clamp of the BMW.

I show my respect by trying to keep Garrett's memory alive by putting on the GMB weekend.

saltpacker,
I'd try Mr. Berg or Big Maico for decals. The original run I had made in 2002 are long gone now. I cannot find the person that made them and I believe that Mr. Berg and Howard have newer decals. Best of luck, I am sure someone has some they can send you.

Mike Berg is more than happy to work with you and to converse here with anyone. He is the backbone that keeps is upright. He'll probably see this and respond when he gets the chance. His decals are made on the template of the originals I had made and are high quality. P.M. him if you wish, he is one great man to get to know.

Those decals are great. That's so awesome that you guys did that in rememberance of a good friend...makes riding even more worthwhile to enjoy a sport with someone in mind. Garrett would be pleased. He sounds like he was a really good guy and I am only sorry I missed out on having the priviledge of knowing him.
