RIP MotofFiend aka Jason Rynders

Right now this is very hard for me to type. I just recieved a call from Jason's wife, Tina (which I knew was not good) and informed me that Jason passed away with family surrounding him about 2 hours ago (now) She asked me to pass this on to all his moto friends. And anyone else I might know that knew him.

He fought this hard for 4 years to beat stage 4 cancer and it came to the time where his body was winning over his mind. Over a month ago the doctors gave him days to live and he sent me a text telling me so before Christmas, but said he hoped to be around for A-1 and he was. That is the kind of fight Jason had. I wish you all could have met him in person and seen what a wonderful attitude he had toward life. I can only hope to be as strong as he has been. He was an amazing person and friend and I will miss him dearly. He has a little girl, Alexis, that is 3 1/2 months old. I know his family has a huge loss right now and I ask you to keep the entire Rynders family in your prayers.

He was from Cali and lived in AZ for many years before moving to CO with his wife with the Airforce. 2 weeks ago his family made a move from CO to St Louis area to be closer to family and hope for a last chance opinion from a hospital there. Also for when this time came his wife would not be left with a young child with no family around to help. They just bought a house yesterday. As I find out the funernal arrangements I will pass them on. I am going to try my hardest to make the service. (depending on how hard it is to get a ticket)
Jason is now at PEACE and his body is no longer fighting him. He is now riding on God's great motocross track. May you rest in peace my friend and brother!
RIP #213

Here are a few pictures of Jason Seizing the day!

Rest in peace my friend...until we meet again!!! Party like a Rockstar!

Rest in peace Jason..

I didn't know him well, but cancer is a very hard thing to handle.. i've known 2 others that have just passed away from cancer, and they both put up a hard fight. To anyone who has to fight this, they are the strongest people in my eyes.

Ride on man.

Thanks for all the support and thoughts guys!

This was written by Jason's wife, Tina:
"It's only been two days since Jason passed and it has been a hell storm for me. I never thought at 28 years old I would be spending three hours at a funeral home on a Saturday making funeral arrangments for my 34 year old husband. I never thought I'd have to take our daughter to her daddy's funeral when she is just three and a half months old, but that's what the future holds for me come Wednesday. Jason has repeadily told me before what a tight knit group the motocross community is. The truth is I wasn't really ever inroduced to it. With everything I have endured the past two days, I had the opportunity Sunday night to go onto moto boards and read every single response that everyone had to post upon hearing of his death. I am floored. Jason's family has been gleaming ear to ear to see the condolances left on Jason's myspace account. They haven't seen nothing compared to what the moto boards has done for Jason. I want each and every person who is part of moto boards to know I send my biggest thank you. We have received so much support from so many people and it is so appropriate that the motocross world has this to offer in Jason's memory. Thank you so much from all the Rynders family. "
