Default Rest in Peace - Logan R. Emerson - 8 years old

Forgive me if a thread has already been made in his honor. I checked around and didn't see one. I didn't know him, but this was emailed to me and brought tears to my eyes...

Rest in Peace Logan and Godspeed.

The article tells a couple really cute stories about him.

At the bottom it says this phrase....
"May Gods Clouds Be Your Bike And The Universe Be Your Track."- The Emerson Family

its hard to read these articles when I have kids of my own, sometimes it makes me question my decision to get them into riding... but then i say to myself if i was to keep my kids away from dangerous things i never let them ride in a car, walk outside, take them to the park, or get on a plane or just about antyhing at all really. The Emerson family will be in my thoughts and prayers....

A childs death is a scenario every parent fears. Life is full of risks and we are lucky to be able to gain experience every day we are alive. IMHO, we cannot allow our children to grow up in a bubble and not experience anything that has a risk to it. I hope the parents can find solace in the fact Logan was doing something he was passionate about.

Godspeed little guy, say hi to Garrett for us.

Kim,

THANKS so much for posting this. Logan's name is on the List. It warms my heart to see that so many care about "Remembering Those Who Rode."

While reading the comments form the Emerson family and the saying they place on everything to do with Logan -"May Gods Clouds Be Your Bike And The Universe Be Your Track." - How appropriate for this little man who left so early.

I have no doubt that Logan Emerson will be "riding and roosting" in the heavenly realm. I hope the Emerson family can find "peace and a type of understanding" that periodically eludes many of us who lost a child.

Thankfully, lifes journey continues and thank you all for "Remembering Those Who Rode."
