| So sorry to see such a long list of names. But what a wonderful rememberance that honors those that we all miss so very much. When I looked over the names and then the comments that followed with names that needed to be added it really breaks my heart of the major ache that flows thru so many of us. The support that is given helps so very much with the loss of our loved ones. I lost Aaron on March 11, 2001. It wasn't a riding injury but a drunk driver that hit him head on. Aaron loved to ride and race. He was a month away from his 21st birthday and also eager to continue his riding career and move on to the A Class. But we lost him, and our struggle in our everyday survival began. With the help of family and of our District riders and families we found a way to continue and also still be apart of what Aaron loved to do. We are still a big part of our district here in Pa. We have a site that honors Aaron and his life. The site is kept up fresh each week after the weekend racing event with pictures of the riders. Aaron always thought that there should be a site with the riders on it, so that is what we do. Some one meets Aaron nearly everyday. WOW just like looking at the names above, they all belong to a wonderful person that was and is so very much loved. Great tribute to all of those... Keep up the good work Mr. Berg! | ATMers, Stop and think for a minute, thus far in 2007 I have added 33 names to this "List." Way to many folks are dying riding and a few have passed who's life was dedicated to those of us who ride. The pain and suffering that results from the death of a loved one is a life changing experience I wish no one had to learn to live with. As you read this "List" - please say a prayer that the familes of "Those Who Rode" and that some how they find comfort as they adjust to life after loosing a loved one. Also, PLEASE remember to ride carefully and SAFELY. Be considerate of others who are less considerate of you and I personally want to THANK YOU for "Remembering Those Who Rode." Sincerely, Mike Berg "Motodad393" |

| Mr Berg, I see you've added a couple of names recently. I'm very sorry to see this. The list is a constant reminder to hug my kids a little closer, as well as to ride safely. They will not be forgotten. |

| I was thinking Mike this year we could put all these folks name on a simple name tag. Then you give each name to a person of your choice who rides this weekend to honor that person the whole weekend. We can even double up on names if need be.....But let others see the name. I got plenty of room on my helment to post names for others to just say the name when they see them. |

Mark - A most EXCELLENT idea! I think we should do it. This idea will bring out the "true" meaning of the Remembering Those Who Rode Memorial Race. Macho, you never cease to a amaze me. Looking forward to seeing you all soon. |

Yes Char - sadly, without warning the list grows. If only people were more aware of what it is like to be "left behind" - Learning to live with a shattered heart is difficult and they never heal. |

| Sadly, my wonderful stepdad Ed Krasuski will be one of those whom I have now only in memory. Thank you Mike for adding his name to the list, though he was not known by many, he meant a great deal to those who did know him. Here is a little bit about my mentor and friend. Ed was the one who got me back into riding after a 20 yr break. About ten years ago, he invited me and my brother to go riding and camping in the Ozarks, a place he knew well after years of riding there himself. We had never done such a thing before, and it sounded like an exciting adventure. Which it was! I had been given the gift of a whole new world to enjoy, far removed from the mundane drone of city life. We went camping at least twice a year, and was something we not only enjoyed, but became quickly addicted to. Before our stay was even over, we would sit around the campfire, planning for the time we could do it again. He had his beloved XR350 stolen from him last year, and when most people would be screaming mad, he was the epitome of class with sayings like "Oh, that was an old bike, I've had plenty of good times, been looking at getting a new one anyway. God will give thieves what's coming to them." Ed was the type of guy who always reached out to help strangers and friends alike. He would be first in line to donate a needed bike part, or lend his repair skills to get somebody up and riding again. He was a great guy, a good friend, and much more the Dad I wish my father was. He was stabbed in the chest while trying to calm an arguement that had taken place in his front yard. A drunk driver had apparently almost hit a small child, and exited his vehicle to combat a vocal, angry neighbor, when Ed stepped in. He died in the afternoon of July 1 , and in my eyes, very much a hero. He was a good man, and he was doing the right thing. He will be missed. -John |

| Another great idea Macho! Id be honored to wear a name tag or two. Way to go man! If I may add to that thought. It'd be nice to know ahead of time so that way we could find out a little bit about whom that tag represents and perhaps "introduce" them at a prayer vigil or before the racing starts. |

| Thank you very much for adding Lucas Binford to the list. He was a great guy, great father to his young son Tom (2) and daughter Sierra (18), a great husband to his wife and mother of Tom, Julie, a former marine, an attorney, a great boss, and just someone I was privileged to know. He also loved, loved, loved to ride. He would bounce out the door like it was Christmas when he was off to a ride. His bike of choice was a KTM 525 EXC supermoto conversion, although he had a few. | rzanadana, I am sorry for your loss and the loss to the Binford family. Each time I look at the picture of Lucas holding his child it brings tears to my eyes. Please let me know if I can be of some assistance to the Binford family. I know what they are going through. May Lucas Binford rest in eternal peace. Quote: |

| Sadly, I just added the name of 14 year old Connor LaFrance to the list. The death of a rider always leaves you feeling bad, but when a young person dies - it tears at the very essence of a persons heart!
