God speed Billy...........

I was at the track racing and we all were numb when we found out he had passed. He crashed going over the jump that is right after the finish line jump.

Very sad to hear this. Guys, was this a "big jump" track?

Andy,

it's the track that we use for the GMB, if you remember the finish line jump it's the one right after it.

I don't know what happened as I was in the pit's & didn't see it. Maybe he got caught by the wind as it was a little windy in the morning during his race?

Very sad deal, as I have been at the track the day of Garrett & now Billy's accidents.

Default RIP Billy Bantau

Thank you to those that responded and posted information or contacted me. The Bantau Family got a hold of me this evening and I will be flying out Wednesday. I dont know any of you, but want to thank you for your assistance and kind sympathies. I am sure the Bantau family will appreciate the support your off road community has provided. Billy loved riding and was a great friend to many.

Thoughts and prayers for Billy and his family from Indy. Each one of these hits home harder and harder.

My thoughts are with the Bantau Family this morning. I know they are trying to 'make sense' of that which does not make sense.
