Default Hannah Sexton - Fatal Accident

Once again with great sadness I have just learned that a young rider past. Her name is Hannah Sexton - 18. She left this life on March 22, 2009 doing what she loved doing - riding with her family and friends. I have no more details but thought that you folks would be interested in learning what a GREAT person she was.

May Hannah Sexton "Rest in Eternal Peace." She will not be forgotten!

Please keep the Sexton family in your prayers. If anyone knows them, please let me know if I can be of assistance to her parents. It is not easy adjusting to learning to live after burying a child.

Sincerely, In Sympathy

Mike Berg

It's the risk we all take. EVERY SINGLE TIME WE RIDE. My prayers are out to the Sexton family as nobody expects this to happen to them.
One of the things I appreciate about 99% of the races I have ever raced is this. There is a prayer service each morning before the riders meeting. We should all have our lives in order if we are risking them. Plain and simple.
May Hannah Sexton rest in peace.

So sad to hear of another fallen rider. Prayers for her family. She looked like she really knew how to ride that Suzuki.

"Jacksonville, FL - Hannah Sexton, a young motocross rider from Jacksonville, Florida, had a tragic accident on March 15, 2009. She was practicing on her dirt bike at the Dirt Farm track in St. George/Folkston where she collided with another bike. She was life-flighted to Shands where an operation was performed but unfortunately she did not make it. The local motocross community along with her family and friends have arranged for a benefit ride in her name with all the proceeds to go to Action Sports Medical Foundation.

Hannah’s ride will take place on June 7, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. at Murray’s Grille SR 200–Hwy. A1A Yulee, FL

The cost is $20.00 per bike and $5.00 per passenger. For more information contact Wayne at 904-225-2333 or
