Default Fallen - Brother - Jim Sales

a good friend of mine just passed away while we were trail riding, his name is jerry sales,as we where taking a break after a few hours of riding he said that he felt sick like he was getting a cold and we should head back to the truck and go home, well we road about 4 miles on the trail back while i followed him and he started riding like he was out of control then swerved and rode off a cliff about 150 foot into a stone quarry,he died of a massive heart attack and was gone before the fall.he and his bike had to be picked up by helicopter and they flew him to the hospital.an autopsy was done and they said that he probably did not feel a thing,we rode together for over 30 years and i miss him so much.i just needed to get this off my chest and thought the people here at atm would understand what this is all about, thank you so much for this site and god bless jerry, ride on forever my friend.

Thoughts and Prayers go out to him, you and his family and friends. I can say that I first hand know what you are going through. If you need anything at all feel free to ask.
Godspeed Jerry.

Thoughts and prayers out to his family and friends. There is never really a 'good time' to pass but I just hope that God has it in his plans for me to pass while doing something I am so passionate about. It sounds like he had those very same plans for Jerry. The memories of your friendship can never be taken from you. Hold those memories close to your heart. Godspeed.

Saltpacker,

First, let me offer my condolences for your loss. Jerry sounds like was an awesome buddy. I will lift him and his family up in prayers. Please let me know the date of his passing and I will add him to the "List" that Remembers Those Who Rode."

Feel free to contact me and leave you number in a PM and I will call you. None of us are alone in our grief.

Hang in there and may you find comfort in having such a GREAT friend for a long time - that shared your passion. There are many people who miss a privilege such as this.

In sympathy,
Mike Berg
