Wussed out...no, that is a pretty decent leap.

So when are we going back?...

awesome writeup, satch. you know you're with the some of the best people around when an weekend like this always seems to feel more like a family reunion than an 'actual' family reunion. as much fun as it always is, at the same time the true reason that we all gravitate to splendora this time of year is very sobering. it's a tribute to those who rode, and during the rider's meeting mr. berg never fails to bring perspective to what we're doing out there whether we're avid competitors or recreational riders. for everyone that hasn't made it out yet, plan on being there next october. it's a profound event.

of course, there's always room for fun and games and mxmike never disappoints. this weekend satch made his way into a port-a-jon and, almost in ambush style, mxmike started roosting the port-a-jon while satch was inside. i'm not sure if this story's already been posted, but needless to say ... that's some funny stuff!

hey macho, i hope you're healing up well. that was a nasty spill, no doubt.

more to come ...

picture this:

satch strolls into the port-a-jon, mxmike pulls up and starts roosting it then stops roosting to wait for satch to come out. satch cracks the door open to see if it's who he thinks it probably is (which, of course, it is) and mxmike tries roosting him. mxmike stalls his bike and satch sneaks out while mike is trying to start his bike back up, and mike proceeds to roost an empty port-a-jon.

gooooooood times!

That was hilarious to watch. I loved how Satch snuck around the back to try and surprise Mike. Too funny!

I don't think it's on tape. It was one of those moments when everyone just stopped and focused on what was happening. Sort of like when little league ball players just stop and watch a run-down and don't even think about getting involved in it. My camera was around my neck but I was just thinking about the smile under Mike's helmet and the grimace on Satch's face with the noise in that john! Guess I'm not a true photo-journalist. :
