Is taking a WR or a YZ 426/450 and making a streetable bike (to be actually ridden on roads, not just for 100 yards or so) about the same thing (or as smart/dumb) as trying to convert a FZ or a YZF into a trail/mx bike? Last edited by Dewlap; 01-28-2004 at 03:03 PM.

In short....No. Its easy...well sort of, to convert a dirtbike to make it legal. You could probably stick a r1 engine in the frame of a dirtbike, and try to make it legal, only if your trying to commit suicide though! If ya like trikes, ya could try this..

You can easily make a YZ or WR street legal, but you will need to change the oil A LOT!!!
