Default tps disconnected wow?

what does disconnecting the throttle position sensor do and how do u do it. i was reading a thred and some guy said he put a crf44mm carb on the yzf and made about a 3 horsepower gain. wow. but he also said he disconnected the tps. he said it gave it more power and smoothe it out too?

i had been looking for that graph to show someone. win a few more grand nationals and you will have to change the header my friend.
