I don't ride a YZ450F, but I know motoman does, maybe others... Not sure. Anyway, I don't have a clue if turning on the thumpers is a problem, but if it is and you are thinking about going with offset t-clamps, this seems like a less expensive alternative.

Just thought I'd pass it along as I came across it looking for something for my CRF.

I put a Devol link on my '95 YZ, but I cannot imagine why you would want to do anything different with this bike.

It is the best turning bike I have ever owned. I did ride a RM once that would carve any line any where you pointed it, but you could barley hang on to the thing because of the head shake.

Ya but what does that do for your handeling? Not quite sure I follow. I thought the link he showed was a rear susp link on the dog bone.

That is exactly what it replaces.

It changes the rising rate of the rear suspension to better suit your riding style. That is about all I can tell you but I know Shocknut can elaborate...

Ok...is it a short cut/ less expensive way too get around a revalve or somthing. Seems like the rebound compresion should control the rising rate.

No it is to help with turning. It is very popular on '02 CRF's to get either 22mm or 20mm offset triple clamps so the bike turns better. This link basically does the same thing as getting the t-clamps, but for 1/3 of the price.

I don't have a clue how a yz450f turns, and most don't think the 03 crf turns just fine, but for those looking for a little better turning (without spending the money for t-clamps), you can get the link.
