Default remove yz426 2001

i believe i have dropped a cam bearing keeper into the bottom of the motor (can't find it)
so i need to remove what is left of the motor to shake it up a bit to try to avoid splitting the cases to be sure the keeper will cause no damage.
i cannot find a way to remove the rear mount bolt. it feels solid when i try to tap it either direction (both nuts are off)
is there a secret to it?
thanks

It should be in the ignition cover area, have you tried removing the stator cover, stator and flywheel to see if you can find the keeper?
As for the bolt you are concerned with, exactly which bolt is it you can't remove? The swingarm pivot bolt should not have a nut on both sides.

X2 plus most likely it will be found stuck to the flywheel as it is magnetic.

Default stubborn

i have removed all i can remove, drained the oil and inspected with a borescope and searched with a flashlight and a magnet. (It looked like it was heading for the gearbox cavity when i saw it fall). i suppose it could be lost outside the engine - but since i am replacing everything above the crank, i hate to "suppose".
yes, the swingarm bolt - had a nut on one end - other end is some kind of flange. it does not want to come out.

If you had the head installed when you dropped the retainer, it shoudn't be able to make it into the gearbox.

Your swingarm pivot bolt has rusted due to lack of maintenance and is now stuck in place. You can try to spray some penetrating oil on it to see if it will loosen up, you're going to need a long punch of some sort and a pretty substantial hammer to try and drive it out.

Default keeper

head was installed, I was taking the cams out - beginning to rebuild the top end.
both keepers fell into the abyss. the front one stuck to the flywheel, rear was visible in the cam chain cavity for a bit - seemed to go inside the engine thru a small cavity on the bottom. I pulled off everything I could get off. swingarm bolt shows no sign of rust, but it could be rusted in the non visible center. it felt pretty solid when i punched it.
