| SO, as some of you may know i was looking for something to give my 06 yz250f an advantage in races. well at first i was thinking more power. then it came to me that i need better handling, so after some reaserch i decided that the applied/dr.d racing radiator lowering kits (which got rave reviews) was what i was going to buy. so i went to roseville yamaha and picked up a kit, now it says 10 minute install; bull sh*t, im pretty good at working on bikes and it took me almost an hour. but now that everything is buttoned up i have to say that im impressed. quality is good and it went to gether without having to modify any parts of it. even when sitting on the bike it feels lighter on top and goes from side to side a lot easier. im going to ride it tomarro and i will have a report on this product. |

| REPORT: man this kit is the thing to buy if you have an 06 yz520f. when riding the bike it feels so much lighter and nimbler. direction changes are made with less input from me and the bike leans itself over much easier and hooks up good,(even with the bad front tire). and with a lighter feeling bike i wasnt holding on as hard and rode longer without getting armpump. =) overall i give this kit an A+. sorry but i cant get any pics, just imagine the radiators a lot lower and close to the header. |

| Let's see... 1) Remove seat, shrouds and louvers... 1.5) Slug of beer... 2) Remove rad bolts... 2.5) Slug of beer... 3) Install mounts... 3.5) Slug of beer... 4) Install rad bolts... 4.5) WALK to fridge for another beer... 5) Install louvers and shrouds... 6th and most important step) Stand back and admire work while taking another slug of beer.... Total time...12 minutes So you either need to learn how to drink beer or how to spin the T-handles faster |

remove seat, shrounds and GAS TANK unbolt radiaotors, put on all 6 brackets re-rout clutch and kill switch cable to above left radiator hose. shorten the radiator hose that is now too too long because of the new height. but radiator hoses back on, bolt up radiators to brackets and connect hoses fill with coolant put all back together. run bike to check for leaks and then top off coolant. TOTAL TIME: APPROX. 1 HOUR. when you do one yourself you let me know how long it tool you. |

but in defense of Michael Parker, I do now how long simple things can take. Just do some searching about me trying to get my carb and float bowl back togeather |

Nice write-up Michael Parker....a friend of mine is considering this kit also but wanted to hear more about it before he invested some coin on it. Too bad he's out until November with a broken elbow. |

| Come on guys. The time it takes to do a job depends on the tools you have available. No arguing necessary. |
