 Need help on Fork oil capacity 03 wr450f Replaced new seals ....do I measure from the top with the spring out and the forks completely down and damper completly down....I was told 5 1/4 inch from top...I have put about 450 ML or close to a half quart fork oil and it is at 5 1/4.....less than that with damper all the way in.... please help Thanks  |

 Measure the oil height with the fork tubes extended and the internals all the way down, no spring in the tubes. I use 1 quart for both forks on my YZ 426. Make sure you you pump all of the air out of each fork. Bill    Last edited by Florida 393; 12-05-2008 at 06:59 AM. |
