how much difference?

A bud of mine has a 99 yz400f, its in pretty good shape, stock except for some pro tapers. He was complaning that his 400 was a bit heavy, and did not have the snap of his 93 cr250. I told him that some of the people (here) had been really impressed with their new 03 450's.

Just wondering what you all who have moved up from 2 stroke 250's, or from a 400 what you think of the 03 450's? (honda or yamaha)

ive only riddin one for a little while, but woa!!! it made my 250f's power feel like a baby. i think you will be happy with a 450, and they are a lot lighter than the 400's.

i went from a xr 200 to a cr 125 to a 250f mmmm i wonder which one i likethe best. i think taht my 250f made both those bikes look likea mini bike especially the 200. i liked my 125 but it had no power for me and my style of riding. but this 250f suits me perfect. i like to race on the edge. i will go balls out until i cant feel my arms any more. but overall i love the snappiness of a two-stroke but i definatley cannot live without the light weight and power ot the 250f. LONG LIVE THE YZ250F
