Default Blue Wire Mod

I have seen many post that go both ways on what it does and weather it really affects the bike or not. Has anybody done it noticed a difference and been happy with it? Or is it more Bling bling than anything?

No not really Dirtdad, ive not done it and see no reason to do it either, it was mainly for the wr426 to make more power like the yzf426..

First of all it wasnt just for the Wr! It is a rev limiter while the bike is in neutral. It also cuts the amount of spark supposedly. It works well and can be attested to by many here and on TT. It costs nothing so how is that bling bling? You can always reconnect it. Why dont you try it and see? I did it 2 years ago and see no reason to ever reconnect it. My bike starts beautifully but alot of that came thru proper set up. My TPS is going to get disconnected the next ride just to see if it changes anything. If you look at pictures of Tim Ferry's old 426 bikes they were all missing the TPS. I wonder why? He also didnt have the neutral switch. ? Could there be a reason? We will find out. FFR seems to think so!
