2005 yz250f hard to start

my yz250f is easy to start when its cold or has sat for 30min but if i ride it for like 5min it is very hard to start. it takes me like 20 kicks before it will start. any suggestions. it should get easier as it warms up but it gets harder. what should i do.

Are you using the hot start lever? It works the opposite of a choke and will lean out the jetting to help with hot starts

Are your valve in spec?

The hot start doesnt make a difference. I just rode it and if i let it sit for 5 or 10min it will start 2nd kick.
