awesome 04 yz250f buying

I'm thinking of swapping my 91 yz125 for 04 yz250f . The seller says that the 250f runs rough and stalls quick because somehow he gave the bike a wash and some water got sucked in? I don't know if that's true or not I'm still a beginner to bikes , an 04 usually sells at around 3.500 and I'm lucky that somebody wants my bike but he is selling it for 2,000 and suggestions or ideas, here's his ad : im selling my 04 yz250f not sure it might be 05 it goes verry good lots of power and bored to a 280cc it has pro taper bars new air filter new oil and spark plug it was fully rebuilt everything was done 5 hours of riding ago the only problem with the bike is my brother took it out riding came back and washed it and got water in the air box and water got into the carby so the carby bowl will need to be drained and cleaned it still starts but stalls after a while cause the petrol is mixed with water in the carby it is a half an hour job to fix i just dont have any spare time to fix it so wanting to sell cheap $2000 ono negotable

No don't buy into anything he said...
Really??? Is someone going to spend the money on a rebuild ride for 5 hours then sell it!?!?!? If it's not running right chances are something's wrong....and if he claim that it needs a 1/2 hour job to fix but doesn't have the time then I start to wonder...........

Don't fall trap to the false advertising this is one of those that is just too good to be true...........
