Default 01 YZ 426F PLEASE HELP

HAY, I RIDE A 01 426 AT BETWEEN 6000 AND 10,000 FEET IN ELIVATION AND IT HAS A BLURB/MISS INBETWEEN 2 AND 3 GEAR, ALSO IT OVER HEATS ON HILL CLIMBS, LET ME NO WHAT YOU THINK........

Check your jetting did you buy it new. locally or somewere else.maybe it just needs jetted for your altitude.good luck!!!!

If you're riding at those elevations, you definitely need to take a look at your jetting. Your local dealer may be able to help you out, or you could get ahold of James Dean at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

hay, thanx guys, but do you think that the wrong jetting would cause the over heat on the hill climbs?

No, the jetting shouldn't cause it to overheat on climbs. What kind of climbs are we talking about here? Casual climbs or nearly straight up stuff in loose ground? Chances are your overheating problems are a result of the motor working extra hard in loose ground at those high elevations- run a few hundred yards at that elevation and see how hard it is!
