Yes Silver Fox- you should see the whole group. We tease and joke and have a great time. We also have the common interest thing of riding and Garrett to thank for this extended family on ATM. I really hope you are able to make it next year SF.

I feel like I left my family this weekend. I have never felt more comfortable with such a huge crowd in all my life. Everyone working on bikes together, joking, eating, riding, and just having the times of our lives. Doesnt get much better in my opinion. Of course, that is what I said last year too and this year was even better.

You know... I was talking to someone last night and we both agreed that everything happens for a reason, even if that reason is as tragic and painful as Garrett's passing was.

God had a plan for Garrett and that plan is still in action. Look at all the great people that have united as one big family... and it grows every year!

When my time comes to leave this body, I can only hope I leave half the legacy that Garrett did in his short time.

Shine on Garrett!

Well we finally made it home last evening we had a round trip of exactly 3200 miles, needless to say we are both glad to be back.

I REALLY wish that I could have been around the whole time and especially for the whole race, but I am telling you guys, I couldn't hardly MOVE Sunday Morning! After riding more on Saturday then I had in the last 6 months, I was dead tired. I actually went thru a tank and a half of gas on Saturday's practice and I was SORE guys...really really sore. As it was we went back to the room after we left the race to get Amy (or Wendy as some of you know her by. ) some shorts, and while she was changing I laid down....well the race was over by the time I woke up, so we headed south to Galveston to start the rest of our vaction.

As for Kirtwell, he is just lucky that I hadn't been riding for the last 6 months, couldn't hold on for more then a lap and a half, and was riding like a spode.....he knows who the true king is when I am healthy and up to speed we went thru that at GMB II.

I want to thank the ATM family that made us all so welcome into the GMB/ATM family. I really felt welcomed and am so honored to have met Shannon, Suzy and Mike Berg.

I might try to make the planning meeting next year. I have to see I want to try and make a run at points next year. I hope to be able to race all year next year. I now want to do GP's more than ever. I had so much fun on that track at GMB III it makes me want to improve my track skills.

To all:
I'm sorry I didn't let you guys know any sooner that Nikki and I made it home safe and sound. After leaving the Berg's home Monday at 12:00 p.m. we pulled into our place around 4:00 p.m. Wednesday.

All I can say about what went on at this years G.M.B.III is....
I'm speachless.

I've never been so moved to the very core of my being as I was this past weekend. I can hardly keep my emotions in check when I think back on it all.

All you A.T.M.er's "Rock"
Boyd

p.s. I guess I should have let Nikki drive more then the 500 miles she put in on our 5000 mile round trip. She thought it would be a great idea to go to Seattle Wa. this weekend. So gress where she went? It must be great to be young.
