Default The "Men" of G.M.B.III

I'll tell ya right-up-front that I didn't get pictures of all the guys that I wanted to. Maybe because I was to busy talkin.

Anyhoo... The frist picture is Mike crossing the finish line.

Mike & Boyd

This next picture was taken after I wiped tears from my eyes.
Most of you may not know what Mike did after the second ATM/TT moto had finished. He picked up his 1st. place trophy, walked over and handed it to me. He said "after seeing Garrett and you riding in the last moto I knew the trophy was going back to Oregon with you". "Besides" he said "you finished the race for me".
Once again... Mike, you blow me away!

I'll post more later tonight

Boyd

Pictures of the 250 beginner class.

Mark, David, Boyd

As noted in my "Common Thread at the G.M.B.III" post. Macho and I rode the entire moto side-by-side. Here is a few pictures of a "Very Special" race for Mark, John Lorenz, and myself.

At the gate

Tripple step-up. (Doubled)

At the table-top.

Down side of the table-top.

Mark... All I can say is, I can hardly wait to ride side-by-side with you again. Although with you getting that new 450, I'll have to work really hard to keep up.

Boyd

More pictures to come.

Psyklone its you and me next year buddy. We had a side by side going on for a few laps. I will have to agree with the Machoman it brings you and that fellow rider closer. I didn't make the bond with b-bike that Macho did but we did bond and shed tears together.

This is a must ride must attend weekend. You can read about it, you can see pictures, you can watch videos but you will never know the feeling of attending and meeting the others that attend.

Nice pictures Boyd. Great memories just seeing them.

Char, we did this in the 250 beginner class, but your more than welcome to join us.....just you will have to slow down some. Keetoman, You got a partner bro! I believe EgoAllenPoe will be there next year so we can all double up. If not, its wide enough for an easy three wide.Ego and Boyd- Keeto and Macho, Satch -Da King, DBD -Psyklone. On the TT\ATM class I ride with everybody I can for a lap.First lap I ride behind Motodad period. Its just so awesome to hit the jumps side by side, just feeling the joy of it all. Hitting the straights along side. Just riding together

Nikki took these three pictures during the second moto of the ATM/TT class.
I was riding along "with" Garrett on his 450.
I still get goose-bumps remembering this ride.

Garrett and Me over the Tunnel Jump

Garrett and Me "Skyin" on the Step-Down

Garrett and Me hittin the Finish Jump.

As I post these pictures my remembrence of this moto are as if I'm still riding with Garrett.
Words cannot describe the emotions I've felt both then and now.
Dear Mr Mike Berg: The four words that sum it up are...
I LOVE YOU MAN.

Mike... Thanks for letting me ride with you and Garrett.

Boyd

After getting home from 5000 miles of driving (4500 of it I drove, Nikki did 500 on the way home) I hit the easy chair with "Mans Best Friend" Cosmo.
I think I slept in that chair for two days before I had to go back to work.

Resting up for next year.

Boyd
