I talked to Zak's dad last night, and they can't get an appointment till this Friday to determine what needs to be done to get his arm back to 100%.

Ken (Zak's dad) told me they were very fortunate to get a very good bone doctor at the hospital that Sunday after the accident and he has seen many riders in the past and including car racers. So they did get a good doc from out of town to handle the emergency.

I would imagine surgery (pins, etc.) will be needed?

Wow KK that was a nasty crash that had us all worried on the sidelines. I hope you heal up soon and get that arm back together right. Let us know what the dr says and what your recovery is going to look like.

Not sure yet...when he set it, the big bone went together nicely. The smaller bone kind of sort of went back together, but it doesn't look so good. At this point, no one will say for sure.

You know, I hate to say it Ken O, but what you posted was pretty funny... cut $$ cut $$ Cut $$... Ahhh... I'm so glad it wasn't worse. I'm also glad to have been there.

Heal up KK, in no time you'll be good again.

KK & Ken,
Hang in there and I hope it heals quicky and properly. I hated seeing you get hurt at the race. I do not think I ever saw someone whom was injured with a 'better attitude' than KK. Let me know if there is anything my family can do to help!

Please keep me posted on your progress:
