Macanudo Crystals are one of my favs and the ones I bring when I make the trip(s). Mild yet tasty!! CAOs are good smokes with a good flavor too. They are just a tad bold for my taste buds!!

Try a CAO Gold sometime Ern....they are less zesty than the others. I am mild-medium bodied man myself. The CAO Gold (robusto) is great...about 30 to 40 minutes of awesomeness!

Boyd and I had plans to ride our bikes to GMB this year. Unfortunatly for me, I have been out of work since Jan 09 and our resources have been diminished to a very critical point.

I do have hope, I may be employed this coming two weeks, if so, I would place me on the Wish List. I have far more bills to cover and cannot justify a trip this year. My heart has always been in Texas since GMB I

If I can come, I am coming as a photographer and I will give any and all photos to all riders.

I am also going to offer if someone or who ever wants to donate $100 or more to the the Garret Berg Memorial Fund, I will at no cost creat an HDR (High Dynamic Range) Photo of them from a photo of their choice. These prints will be 300dpi 54inch by 36inch format. Image will be supplied by me for free and adjusted to your liking, printing of course is of your resources

HDR is a process that brings alive a photo that is simply unbelievable. Here is Tadesco at Hangtown, this is not the Final rendering, I may post the final later

Here are some other renditions of HDR

An Artistic Rendering

A More Natural 3d look

I am not ashamed to ask, if anyone cares to sponsor my way, I would be more then grateful, but add as many photos and HDR shots you want

John,
Almost every time I throw a leg over my KLR my mind wanders to our talks of riding to the GMB. And for this year I know riding to Texas it isn't in the cards for me too (unless I find thousands of $$$ between now and GMB).

That dosn't mean that we can't look at riding there in 2010. .
By then I just might have a different bike.

I have not ridden since christmas break of last year... so you guys stand a chance

I guess when I'm back in Texas I have some work to do to get that bike ready! Been riding a bike with pedals all summer...

I'll be there and this year I am bringing my bike and riding three classes so don't even think of asking me to flag.
