Default GMB 2012

The 2012 “Garrett Michael Berg, Remembering Those Who Rode” event is now officially in the early planning stages. Nothing is written in stone yet but as things get clearer, things will firm up.

As of now we can’t call this a RACE or RIDE or a GATHERING. This and many other early questions will be answered very soon. From that point, the plan for the rest of the weekend will unfold.

There are so very many other things that have to be done prior to saying, “It’s A Go”.

Please take this opportunity to offer your suggestions as well as your help.

Boyd

That is the hope Ernie. I haven’t been able to contact Splendora yet. Making that contact is very high in the list of things to do.

Hmmm...... No chance for me on Saturday and slim on Sunday. If I had known a few months sooner, I could have locked in some vacation. We'll see how the chips fall.

It will be awesome to "Remember Those Who Rode" and to see the greatest folks in the world - those who ride. It is a humbling time, yet the friendships made really are "of the heart" and they stand the test of time. Looking forward to it. See ya'll there!

We still need LOTS of people to help out for this event.

Please take time to p.m. me or BigMacio393 with your input, ideas, intentions to help, volunteer!

Be sure to come. You’ll meet awesome people, make friendships for life and do some riding in the wonderful Houston TX area.

Well Yesterday I was at Historic Rio Bravo & Mr. Berg rode up on his Raider.

Mike spent some chatting with Danny who owns Rio Bravo & they have set up the the date for the GMB.

It's going to be Sunday October 7th.

A few thing about Rio Bravo.

They have a covered pavilion with picnic tables & electricity for what ever you might want to plug in.

The have a pool & showers & 2 gas grills that have gas in them, so you can cook.

Danny will have the PA system set up for us to use.

The Bathroom should be done by then.

Danny said that he would grab his drum set & get the guitar player for his band , so they could play a little music.

Stand by for more info coming soon!

As Body stated they will be open Saturday for practice & most of the GMB Team should be there.

If we want we can do a cook out at the end of the day & enjoy the pool!
