![]() Here are the directions, http://www.sanjacintocyclepark.com/directions_to_the_track.htm . Can anyone let us know if the TT race is full, I need to mail my entry form and not sure which to sign up for. If the TT race is full how does the 250 classes look or the over 35? I am flexible and would rather fill up one of the more open classes than overrun the other, I am not usually one to race but I ride for enjoyment factor only, so be patient with my inexperience with all of this. On another note, I rode SJCP Sunday so I would be familiar with it, nice track! I visited Garrett's memorial and rode really well, he was definitely with me. |

![]() Here are some more directions I got from Big Maico. From Houston, San Antonio, everyone coming in on I10: I10 to I59 North Take 59 north to the 2090 exit in Splendora Turn right (going east) on 2090 - it will zig zag over some railroad tracks. Take 2090 to Tran - blinking light, gro-gas on the right. Left on Tran, one short block to May - its the first turn you can make after getting on Tran Follow May all the way into the track. From Dallas, everyone coming in on I45: Take 45 south to 242 Turn left (east) on 242 all the way to I59 Take I59 north to 2090 in Splendora Turn right (going east) on 2090 - it will zig zag over some railroad tracks. Take 2090 to Tran - blinking light, gro-gas on the right. Left on Tran, one short block to May - its the first turn you can make after getting on Tran Follow May all the way into the track. |

![]() I will mail in my entry form today, I am not sure what class I should race in so I am just going to pick one and go with it. I chose 250 Novice, since I have not raced in 20 years. I did not even have a number on my bike so myself and my kids came up with 371 last night, representing the year each was born, 93, 97 & 01. I know alot of guys here in the Houston area unfamiliar with the GMB memorial race, I am going to pass this link along and see if I can get some more old farts to race with. |

![]() valverde, The 250 Novice is really the 250 beginner's class. It was decided not to have a beginner's class to prevent Sandbagging. |

![]() I will race wherever you guys want me or need me, any of the 250 classes or the 35 and older is fine, one more year before I move into the 40 and older class, ugh! Just a quick note, I (HP) hooked up with a bunch of fellow riders from (BMC software) here in Houston and so far we have another 6 riders for the races at least, maybe more. |

![]() Valverde Super, as we always say on a ride, the more the merrier, plus the money is going towards a very good cause. Big Maico will make room for everyone, so don't worry about how many people will be in a class. This will be a race that you and your buddies will remember for along time. Make sure to tell them that Family day and practice is scheduled for that Saturday before the race. |

![]() Guys, don't get too caught up in what class to ride. As you will find when you get there, the race is secondary to the reason for the event. If the TT class fills up, we will come up with a creative way to fit everyone in. Even if it is a backward facing, dead engine, run to your bike GP start. ![]() Who's bringing the umbrella girls? Has anybody contacted Britney's people? Should we also add mud wrestling? Southern Trailer Park Skeet (squirrel) shooting? Beer can crushing on the forehead? Seriously, this will be the most intense, but fun, weekend you will ever spend at a race. See you there. |
