Well I guess I am a Machoman. I entered the 250 novice, over 40 and the thumpertalk class. You guys going to let a old man race more than you?I could ride the 125 novice(250f) class but I want to race with you guys some.

I was thinking the same thing. My prob is opposite of yours, I can turn ok but I just cant jump. And yes people I will shift his year, and no Matt wont have to push my wrecked bike back to the pits.

Cowboy, I would give you a good taunting but im not very fast, so good luck.

I only signed up for the Thumpertalk calss but may ride the +35 class. I'm not a racer!

P.S. I wasn't at the race last year because I was busy breaking my back.

Men I look forward to mostly the thumpertalk class. Last year me and Ego had a blast racing together. Yes, he beat me hands down. But it sure was fun. Im no mx guy but I will give my all for the sure love of the Bergs. Might I suggest that on saturday you pick out a guy who is about your speed or alittle faster .That is the guy you will want to play tag with. The thumpertalk class will truely bring you closer together. Kirtwell and a guy named Jaybird are truely the fast guys in that class from last year. I can't wait till each one of you sit in that corner and watch Motodad 393and Motoman 393 take the checkers. I'll be 40 on October 4th ,na,na,na,na. I got my eye on Vintage Dave and Big M in that class.

hey, machoman did you go in October? and if so was the track diff? And one quick question.

You know that shifting is where I realy suffer. But I have been working on it and can shift sitting like second nature. But I just cant do it standing. Where do you have your foot on the pegs to do it?

I went in april . The track is alittle diff. They now have some whoops on the back section. As for shifting I mostly ride sitting down. But I keep my foot at a slight 45 on the same level when standing on the peg. Just keep it in a gear so as you don't need to shift as soon when you jump. Practice standing and shifting by just moving the front of your ft in and out.(towards the case)

You ride with your feet on the pegs? I am usually doing my Superman with all the power of the 426

Actually, I ride on the balls of my feet and when it comes time to shift, I'll lift the foot off and give her a kick, usually with no clutch.

I was there in April as well and went the next day to watch Big M and Vintage Dave race and they changed the track for race day. Big M said that is the normal way the track is but they put the extra turns with jumps in for races. I don't remember any whoops on that track though. I musta been going so fast I missed them

cool, I hope to do alot better this year. Thanks for the tip macho and keeto. I think if I can keep the revs up w/ the clutch in the turn I should have some luck. Im now riding the front track at Milton and can get over three sometimes four of the tabletops. And I can easly pass my dad mabey I can get some riding lessons from the 80 riders see ya in October.
