We just walked in the door and am absolutely exhausted, but I wanted to say that this years event was truly a wonderful experience. Fun was had by all and everyone came back in one piece. There are going to be many details over the next couple of days as people get back home and settled again. As a quick summary before I tip over, the only things that would have made the event absolutely perfect:

1. Bill, Bates,Woody and EGO would have been able to make it. Good luck under the knife tomorrow, buddy and I hope that the word from the Ortho is god tomorrow, Bates.

2. We would not have forgotten ALL of my wife's stuff--although they got to go shopping yesterday--enjoyed themselves.

3. I would have been parking my new YZF450 in the garage from the raffle--guys from CA. have all the luck!

4. Matt would have been able to ride (ships out to the Marines tomorrow).

5. One more day to kick back, relax and enjoy some more time with all of my "new" friends away from the hussle and bussle of the track.

Consider this a first report, but look for many more as it was quite a spectacle. Need to go get cleaned up and check my eyelids for leaks.

Tyler

Whew, man what a weekend of fun! I wish everyone on here would have made it because it was one heck of a weekend!

I don't even know where to start here so I will let some others tell begin. i'm going to bed for some much needed rest!

I will also let Garrett's father tell who won the bike... it wasn't me

P.S. Macho cheats!

it was awesome.

the track was great, but the people were better. i cannot believe that we had that many people and no buttheads. every person there from ATM was awesome. not to bag on TT, but our crowd had the personality race locked up tight.

to give justice to any aspect of the event requires lots of typing. check the other gbm threads and you will find many pages of info.

it was an awesome we bonded like a bunch of women.

Next year Woody and Bates are NOT GOING TO RIDE until they get to Houston. They can do all the riding they want after the race.

It was great getting to see familar faces from last years race and also meet the new people.

It was great that we were able to get Cowboy, Cowgirl, Blitz393 to the race.

Also I want to thank those that helped my friend Chris Harrison (CRMX91) that crashed towards the end of the day on Saturday. He was shaken up alittle and sore, but his mom let him stay with us Saturday night and he went to the races with us on Sunday.

Like Surferdude said, we didn't have a single butthole in the group.

Actually, lets correct that. Bates won't be doing any riding before the trip. I should be fine.

Dane- You have to come next year. Josh and I are looking into a toybox deal from Gunthrey's friend in Temecula so we should have some room for peeps again. You would be a great addition to the GMB non-buttheads.

Woody and Bates- You can come and visit the 909 anytime so don't wait for the GMB.

Whew!! (as he wipes his forhead) I was worried about being in the butthead brigade and not getting an invite to GMBIII. Ima Thank you very much for the flowers!! I actually told Dirtbikinmama that I was going to that next year no matter what. I will take you up on that offer and will be a great addition to the driving crew as I used to drive 18 wheelers. That will work out good I can drive and help with the gas! Those folks in the 909 are the bestest

Sounds good Dane. Zoo and I were positively loopy on the ride back. We got up at 4:30am the day of the race and we drove straight home afterwards. We got in Tuesday morning at 1:30am. Of course we had a short detour in New Mexico because of my unleaded gas fiasco but that is something I would rather not bring up in front of Zoo for fear of a divorce. We would love to have your company and any hep driving would just be pain nice.

Well funny you should say that read this post by me and tell me what you think. I am all for that Woody and would be willing to help organize it. You want to do it at Lake Elsinore or any other track I can talk to around here I will be in the car or on the phone and start that ball rolling.
