I have checked around the local motels and the closest one to Mike Berg and the Friendswood area is Motel 6 in Webster, TX which is only like 8-12 mins away from Mike's house and their rates are very reasonable. Splendora will be about a hour drive from the motel. The address is: Motel 6 1001 W. NASA Rd. 1 Webster, TX 77598 (281-338-4581) Internet price is $35.99 plus tax per night with choice of either a single king bed or 2 double beds. My plans are to stay at Motel 6 on the nights of Oct. 17 & 18 and start heading back home after the race on Sunday.

Hehe...depending on how the motorhome thing shakes down, we may spend a night or two there as well. This reminds me...is there anywhere that we can find general info about the events...times, meeting places, addresses, etc?

You all come by the house and do some garage racing. Feel free to email me and l will get you the directions to the House. I am really looking forward to seeing and meeting everyone. Who knows there may even be a couple of cold beers around. I imagine there will be some 'food' to munch on also. Be careful driving and get here safely!

We won't be able to get down until Saturday afternoon so we reserved a room at the Super 8 in Cleveland ($60). Gonna try and make it to the track in time Saturday to ride it a little. Is everyone planning on riding Saturday?? PS. I found directions to a motocross track in Splendora...I assume there is only one but they didn't refer to it as San Jacinto Cycle Park.???????

That's the one Satch. I will be staying at the track if Kirtwell takes the motorhome. If not, i will be getting a room somewhere. Either way, I will go to the Berg's house at least one night. Keith

Keetoman, Does this sound right: "Go Us 59 from Houston to Splendora, exit FM 2090 left, approx. 1/2 mi at Exxon gas station turn right on Goodson Rd., go to second gate on right."

it don't sound right to me. If your coming from Houston exit off at splendora (2090) take first left then first right. Go straight on this rd (2090) until you see a store/Mobil gas station on the right which is Tram Rd. Take a left. Turn right on May rd it runs right into the track. Thats how I remember it

Machoman is correct but it can get a bit confusing the first time you drive out there. They don't have any signs. For exact directions, PM Big Maico. He lives fairly close to the track.
