| I hope E.G.O. doesn't mind me copying his post from Thumper Talk, but we have a place that deserves it right here: Garrett Meant so much to us all in some form or fashion. For those that knew him Best, his Mom, Dad, Sister Shannon, The Bazzy's, and coutless others at his School. Remember this for ever Garrett Michael Berg June 24, 1985 - September 22, 2002 [My Son will live forever in my Heart] ~The Dashİ~ by Linda Ellis ~ I read of a reverend who stood to speak at the funeral of his friend. He referred to the date on his tombstone from the beginning... to the end. He noted that first came the date of his birth and spoke of the date with tears but he said what mattered most of all was the dash between those years. For that dash represents all the time that he spent alive on earth, and now only those who loved him know what that little line is worth. For it matters not how much we own; the cars, the house, the cash. What matters is how we live and loved and how we spend our dash. So think about this long and hard, Are there things you'd like to change? For you never know how much time is left You could be at "dash mid-range" If we could just slow down enough to consider what's true and real, and always try to understand the way other people feel, and be less quick to anger, show appreciation more and love the people in our life like we've never loved before. If we treat each other with respect, more often wear a smile remembering that this special dash might only last a little while. So when your eulogy is being read with your life's actions to rehash... would you be pleased with the things they say about how you spent your dash? May Garretts legacy be for all is how he spent his DASH, Garretts stories are filled with how he helped, went out of the way and always had a good thing to say. Garrett to us at ThumperTalk and ATM is known as Motoman393, some of us knew only a fraction of him in contrast to his RIDING BUDDS. I long to hear and will sit for hours to hear stories of Garrett, If only I had the chance to part of his Dash God Speed Garrett~Motoman393 I know that where you are now is filled with joy, love and peace.
