Garrett, wish I would have had the opportunity to meet you. We have not forgotten what a great young man you are and the friend you were to so many.

Mike and Suzette, your family has touched many lives. Thank you for touching ours and making us part of your family.

The McKinney Family

Glad the 22nd is over. This year I laid in a hospital bed as I had my right hip replaced on 9/21/2010. I had to get it done before Oct. 1 due to changes resulting from the distasterous nObamaCare passed by the rectoids in Congress. I spent the 22nd on morphine and watching the clock at the foot of my bed pass the hours. It sucked, but the morphine helped.

Next year I will once again return to "G_ds Country" and ride hard, far and fast on this infamous day.

My Family and I deeply appreciate the continued support and Friendship of You folks know how to make a positive difference in a world that so desperately needs it.

All the Best,
Mike Berg

Not sure how I completely missed this but I'm sure marathon shifts at work had something to do with it. To see Mark and Brent post up again is comforting to me.

Garrett touched the lives of so many yet the actual number will probably never be completely known. Though the sadness of the Berg family is obvious, they have the solace to know Garrett was a very well liked and wise young man....wise well beyond his just 17 years.

A parent never expects to have to bury their young but sadly, travisty strikes even the best of families. Their comfort has to come from memories and I am thankful there are many of those very visions for the Berg family to reflect upon.

I too wish I could have had the opportunity to meet Garrett. The talks we had via e-mail and phone were good but to have been able to meet him in person would have been the icing on the cake. Wise well beyond his just 17 years.

May the legacy of Garrett M. Berg continue to live on, Godspeed young man and someday we will all meet you and roost with you on the silken terra firma of Heaven.
