Don't slow down just because there is a turn after the whoops. Take the turn faster!

Most of my cornering breakthroughs have come after hitting a berm so hard I thought "Ohh jeez, I'm going over this thing". You will be amazed how hard you can hit those things if you just lean into them and throttle out.

Its easier to enter a whoop section like you said by squaring up the turn so you can enter the section straight,or take the turn wide and jump back as soon as you exit and skim the farthest side of the section.Make sure you take the sides of the track because most people get scared and ride more towards the middle even though there is fresh track on the outer edge.Change it up if you are behind some one so you arent just following, look far ahead and find a way around them, whoops are one of the best easiest ways to pass.Plus blowing by some one at WOT in the whoops makes you look like a real bad a$$

Dont listen to miles because he turns like a sport biker j.k

This berm was right after a whoop section with a BIG breaking bump(almost jump) and I hit it in 4th or 5th gear, notice my fork is almost bottomed:

2nd on this one. If your sag is not correct your not going to get the results you want no matter how much skill is involved. After the sag is set and your confident on your speed and technique but your getting the same result I would start with your rebound.....If you ever want to hit the whoops with me come out to Cali...I have a 10 mile section with every type of whoop you can imagine.....

If possible build a set, to practice on, i used to have trouble with this one track that had a double going in to a set of whoops, and the landing was like a massive 1st whoop, i will be honest i was scared to atempt the jump fo fear of an endo, so i built a set at hope in one of the farm fields, and just went to town on it, there were many crashes, some er visits, but it got to the point that i was nailing the jump, clearing the landing and landing into the section, on the landing i would keep the bike level, well maybe a little on the back, but as soon as it hit i would drop a gear and hold her tight. and on your corner problem, you would be amazed at how fast you can take a tight corner and stick it, those knobbies on the side of the tire do wonders.
