Hey Jerry...

I rode desert a time or two long before I gave mx a whirl. Don't sweat it, you'll be fine. Hopefully the cc stuff has taught you how to turn.

Maybe Mainjet will tell his motocross story.... Mr Main?

Char, I don't have a problem with turning,I have problem with getting air! But I'm stoked for this thing. I'm thinking it will go fine, and we will def. have a blast!!!I have alot of respect for Mainjet. He seems to be an awsome person, that I would have loved to been racing in the desert with! I told him that awhile back and he was perplexed by my comment. I can't wait to meet you all and I'm working on plans to go to GMB this year also!!!.....Jerry

Jerry, Jerry, Jerry....
Desert racers need a 2 day notice if you are gonna turn.

As for the Motocross story, I raced once at Indian Dunes in the early 70's. Got the hole shot and was 1st to the turn.
Nobody told me you had to turn. After the turn I was dead last. Decided I didn't know what I was doing and went back to the desert.

Ummm don't worry about the tooth fairy unless he shows up with those wings. Then...don't get close to him.

Hey Darin......
Sorry.
I carry a fanny pack of tools in the desert and like some have said, I usually end up fixing my buds bikes.
Below is one of my Baja pits with the tools I use to gas repair and all kinds of quick fixes. The picture was half way into the Baja 2000 and Johnny Campbell is changing a busted header pipe. I'm in the white shirt.
Bet Char doesen't ask again after this windbag post.

[/IMG]

Here is another pit in the Vegas to Reno race 3 years ago.
We have radio comunication with the other pits also.

After this weekend it will stand for Catching Crosswind.
Hey, don't even sweat it. I know MotoMan's crew are all pretty freakin' fast. But most of us coming from far away are just happy to ride. We ain't coming to impress anyone. I may clear a few jumps and I may not.

Now, back to the tool box. I have a strong supply of WD-40, duct tape, and bailing wire. I usually keep a walking cast in there as well.

Sorry Darin. Couldn't help it. And I'm sure the title change will just be temporary.

you don't have to try that hard, just put a camera on him, he will take care of pushing himself over the berm all on his own.

I may be from Indiana but always did my racing in MI...there is SUCH a difference between the 2 districts its unreal. MI has bigger tracks and WAY faster riders for some reason.

I can't wait for the call out races.
