Angry Stupid Doubles

I am just scared to death by the bigger doubles. I always seem to come up short especially this one that I want to make at a local track (Boondoxxx). I'm not for sure about the distance probably about 15-20ft from top to top but it's right out of a corner and I just can't get enough speed out of the thing, even with going to the top of the corner. I've got a 125 which probably doesn't help, but I feather the clutch in second, hit 3rd in the powerband screaming and I just can't make it, my front tire hits the backside everytime and it's starting to get annoying.

Those doubles right out of the turns can be real buggers! Sounds like seat bouncing it is in order. Hows your suspension set up? I was in a similar situation a couple of years ago and BigTree and Big M adjusted my suspension, stiffening up the rebound a bit. This gave me a little extra lift over jumps. Be careful not to overdo it in the rear though, otherwise you'll be endoing.

I agree with seat-bouncing But, working on your corners is always helpful. Carrying more speed should help a bunch. Find a faster rider that's clearing it and follow his (her ) line/speed.

Have fun, but ride smart!

Yep yep, Doc and prag nailed it. Sounds like seat bouncing is in order for sure.
