Talking SAFETY

i had a HUGE head injury last year... brain bruise fractured my skull the whole 9yards
during my 2 weeks in intensive care i awoke from my three day coma!(yeah a freakin coma ) one day after i awoke my doctor told me i might not be able to walk again. you can say I took it kinda hard. as soon as he left the room i got pissed. long story short i apparently went I streaking in the hospital mooned the nurses and was rightfully strapped down to my bed.(cant remember i was all drugged up) never let things slow you down WEAR YOU SAFETY GEAR I BEAT THE ODDS ONCE DON'T DO WHAT I DID LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE.

PLEASE be careful

I'll ride for life !

Couldn't agree more, safety gear is a must.

Great story BTW. Glad you "walked" away from it.

Man, you and Motoman are something else. To walk away from a life threatening injury or one that could possibly have you being paralyzed the rest of your life and continuing to ride, is incredible. I cant say that I would ever push my luck like that. Glad to hear of your recovery.

I have one and won't ride without it now. I put mine to the test a few times and really think it helped. Even if not, I feel more confident and safe and that peace of mind goes a long way.
