Trust me on learning the bake brake as increased feel in this control will help in racing as well, most the riders i train can wheely now at walking pace,stop and balance at flipping point, scrape the back mudguard,change from sitting to standing and back while doing it and the best of them can even seat bounce and stay balanced near flipping point while doing it.
