ah I see. From what I have read in previous wheelie threads people describe the clutch wheelies to bring the front up more smooth than power wheelies, but i guess not.

It will feel werid at first, but soon you will get it a little higher and higer until you get her up there to the sweet spot.
Okay, I understand now. It all makes sense to me. A couple days after I got my bike I was out in my buddies field messing around and I remember being in second gear I tried to do a quick power wheelie and thats when the bike stood straight up and took off. I did one of those closed eyes-hold on for dear life death rides. Somehow I didn't flip her over backwards but I believe I was in the powerband I guess thats where I got the idea clutch wheelies would be better...

Thanks for all yalls help! I'm gonna be practicing these without the use of the powerband this time. Its startin to make more sense, though, thanks again

That's me on my bike and my definition of smooth. It could be the opposite for you. But I know what you mean. Especially in first gear...if you crack the throttle to bring the front up....it's a bit more violent. Any guy I've ever seen wheelie from a stop does it with the clutch and brings the front up pretty "smooth" from what I can tell. There's just a lot of factors weighing in on the type of wheelie and besides...you will learn good clutch control which is always a nice skill to have. Mine's decent...I just hate using it because I'm lazy

I'm 39 years old. I did not ride much BMX. I rode dirt bikes till I was stupid and got married( at 21 ). I took a long layoff and then 3 years ago I jumped back on a CR500R and after a couple years I decided I needed a bike I could handle so I bought a 450. The 500 was fun, just too much bike for me. Actually, the 450 is more bike then I need. I've been wanting to make a wheelie vid for awhile, but honestly I did not think it out. Just trying to help is all. What do you teach? I would love to learn how to jump better, turn and all that good stuff.

Well, Is it that they don't have a place to ride, or they just being law breakers? I guess if they don't have a place, I can see why they are doing it. Not smart thou. And by the way, some of them have mad skillz fo shizzle YO

Theres pics of it on here. Thanks bro. It's that Jardine RT4 pipe that makes the rumble. Just takes time to learn. I have a few friends that put me to shame in the wheelie dept, yet I still try

That's one my son's on my old 06 yamm'y, he can slow wheelie up a tabletop jump ramp, across and down the landing side in that position. This is part of his supercross training, as you find yourself in those positions sometimes Also latley he has been bouncing up and down on the back wheel just showing off!

I can endo up and down obstacles if I get enough speed on the jump before.Done it many times to stop from landing on someone when the flaggers arent payin attention.Them darn flaggers look at this flagger on the right, just kinda shakes his arms and barely even wave the flag

.Got to thank the good flagers though, couldnt feel safe on the track without them

Ah man, you would be better off asking Cody, Miles or Greiby54. I'm not a big jumper at all. Maybe Pete and his boys could make one? Moto man is pretty damn good too.
