I have been in and out of the sport since 1971 and these flips and some of the obstacles on some tracks really make me cringe.
Simple crashes are bad enough but, I've seen things I wish I hadn't. Tony

I have tried it once and let me tell you from experience it is no bueno when you dont make it. I was 16 and it was when the backflip first came out so I attempted it on my 97 rm 125 I had at the time it was just a little 20 ft double. Well to make a long story short I got almost all the way back around and I caught the lip of the landing with the front tire and it threw me to the ground and the bike came over with me. I broke 5 ribs punctured a lung and cracked my sternum. All i got to say is please get or use a foam pit to try it if not make sure you get it on tape, lol

Bad idea. Straw is way too soft even for a bmx (personal experience) dont even think about it on a dirtbike. try building a really high landing and keep it super soft. works awesome for learning tricks
