Default what's the difference between 2 bikes??

I was wondering what is the difference between these two bike's i should get. I've been thinking about getting a Honda XR 100. If i do, what is the difference between a CRF 100 and an XR 100. I dont think there is any motor changes. Is it just frame changes??

Not positive, but I believe the CRF is lighter and has a little better suspension.

okay. I think i might get the CRF than. Also, is the CRF lighter than the XR. The XR weighs about 165 lbs.

The XR and the CRF are basically the same bike. In 2004, Honda changed the name from XR to CRFXXXF (the F destinguishes between the MX bike "R"), but otherwise they are the same bike.

My bro could be right though, it may have some upgrades. Not sure on that.

so, the XRF and XR are the same at the basics. except for frame modifications. But, are the same weight?

Im assuming you meant CRF, not XRF. They are virtually the same bike. Different plastics, and possibly a few upgrades here and there. Nothing big. Get either one, you wont know a difference.

yeah mostly what they changed is the crfs have the mx style plastics while the xrs have the xr plastics. honda even says they mostly have the same stuff but changed the suspension a little on the crfs.

"The CRF100F packs all the great off-road features of its XR100R predecessor — broad, four-stroke power, low seat height — with retooled suspension and new racebike-inspired CRF graphics"
