 VALVE PROBLEMS please post any tips! Hey iv had my honda crf250r (2007) for a year now and have replaced the intake valves twice already and have to change them again soon. is there something i can do to make them last longer, or is there something im doing wrong? any tips would be great. thanks.  |

 I would contact Mitch Payton at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. I had Pro Circuit rebuild my 2004 top end and have had zero problems since. I ride/race quite often and the job they did has held up for hundreds of hours. I've even rebuilt the bottom end since then with the top end needing nothing at all. Pro Circuit will talk to you and give you advice even if you don't ship the engine to them. Give them a call.  |

| Two options: 1) go with stainless valves. They are much harder and don't have a coating that wears off and exposes the soft Titanium underneath. 2) stay with Titanium valves, but change the seats to a softer material like NBC, or Beryllium, or AmpCo45. |
