Default sprokets for a crf250r

well i got a special edtion 08 crf250r but dont do very much track riding just mostly dirt roads and trails i find it alot slower topend wise compared to a crf250x and was wonderin the combo that will give me more topend speed

Add either more teeth to the back sprocket , say 2 or 3,or just add 1 more to the front, which is the same as about 2.5 to the back.

eg. front standard 13 go to 14, or back 49 standard, go to 47 or 46

ya i was confuesed cause when i said i wanted more topend speed he said bigger on the back and smaller on the front' that was commin from the dealer.Thanks man

You will get more top end by dropping teeth on the rear sprocket or adding to the front.
