Here in CALIFORNIA, we got too many regulations.

Sometimes I ride in GORMAN, the RANGERS make sure you have one.

Id prolly just buy an exhaust w/ a spark arrestor. Im not a thumper guy so I dont know if there are any like "slip ons".But yeah-here in Cali. we have red and green sticker laws. So any bike motocross bike thats a 2003 and newer you cant ride for half the year: -sucks big time."Its all emissions and they pollute too much"Sorry for getting off topic.

Hello!
I use the FMF Q on my CR250. The thumper version here:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
does all the same stuff, DFS legal for sparks and noise.

Yeah, I don't get it? Thumper exhaust components are outrageous! They must use Blingidium or something:

my experiance here in so.cal isthat if your not on a regulated track, than you have to have a spark arrestor. Also a law that was just passed here was that you could not ride anywhere unless you have written permission from that land owner.Subject to severe fine or confescation of bike, atv.THAT SUCKS

Looks like what you are looking for is just a new end cap with sparky built in.

We have a Dr D end cap/spark arrestor (yes this will work on your stock pipe, you just drill out the end cap holes and install this one). It goes for $89.

Link to buy it

Link for more information

Also, I checked and the '04 and '05 are the same.

The other one that's pretty popular is made by PMB, but is a bit more spendy at $119. Link for more info and buy it.

Doesn't it already have the spark arrestor on it? It's a brand new bike. I thought they came as standard equipment on the new 4 strokes. :

Nope, not unless it's the CRF...X model or another off-road non-mx model.

Hmmm... Oh well, he could just get the actual spark arrestor for the stock pipe till he decides to buy a new pipe. Shouldn't be that expensive. Especially after the 6000 you already spent. :

You're thinking of quads. The CRF is a race bike, they expect it to be on the tracks.

I would have worked that into the deal.

Here's a few more places that carry the arrestors fro your stock pipe.

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] <--- this one is at 20 bucks. Better jump on it.
