Default I need help xr100r

     

I have a 2002 Honda xr100r I recently was doing a valve adjustment when I took off my stator cover the gasket was torn to bits and I had to order the new one online in the mean time is it safe for me to ride the bike without the stator cover gasket or will it mess the bike up please help itís about to be spring break and I really want to ride.

It won't mess anything up, but it's likely to leak oil quite a bit. I would not recommend it, but if you really insist on riding it I'd be checking the oil frequently.

What about riding for 15 to 20 minutes just to make sure the valve adjustment went well

It should be fine but you might end up with an oil covered foot!

Cut a new gasket from flat gasket paper you can get from an auto parts store.
